Terms & Conditions – Solomons Staircase School

These Terms & Conditions apply to all registrations for the Solomons Staircase School operated by Four Faces (“the Organiser”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

By purchasing a ticket or attending the event, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

1. Event Details

  • Event Name: Solomons Staircase

  • Organiser: Four Faces (New Zealand registered company)

  • Delivery: Online

  • Dates:

    • Start: 12th August, 9:00am

    • End: 15th August , 2:15pm

  • Daily Schedule: 9:00am – 2:15pm each day

  • Ticket Price:$200.00 USD per person

2. What Your Ticket Includes

Your ticket includes:

  • Access to all conference sessions across the 4-day event

  • Post-event copies of the conference content sent to registered attendees

3. Payment Terms

  • All prices are listed in USD.

  • Full payment is required at the time of registration unless otherwise stated.

  • Tickets are issued to individuals and are not transferable without prior written approval from the Organiser.

4. Refund & Cancellation Policy

This event is a time-specific service provided on fixed dates.

Refunds are assessed based on the date written cancellation notice is received by the Organiser.

  • Cancellation within 2 months of the event start date:

    • No refund

  • Cancellation more than 2 months before the event start date:

    • 50% refund

All refunds:

  • Are processed to the original payment method

  • Exclude any third-party transaction or currency conversion fees

  • Are final once issued

No refunds will be given for:

  • Failure to attend

  • Partial attendance

  • Travel disruptions, illness, or personal circumstances

5. Event Changes or Cancellation

The Organiser reserves the right to:

  • Modify the event schedule, speakers, content, or format if reasonably required

  • Change the venue within the Heathrow area if necessary

If the event is cancelled by the Organiser:

  • A full refund of the ticket price will be issued

  • The Organiser is not responsible for travel, accommodation, or other associated costs incurred by attendees

6. Force Majeure

The Organiser shall not be liable for failure or delay in performing obligations where such failure results from events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Acts of God

  • Government restrictions or legal requirements

  • Public health emergencies

  • Venue closure

  • Travel disruptions

  • Speaker illness or unavailability

In such cases, the Organiser may reschedule the event or provide alternative arrangements where reasonably possible.

7. Recording, Photography & Intellectual Property

  • Sessions will be recorded and shared only with registered attendees after the event.

  • The organiser reserved the right to use the material in way deemed fit within their own independent platforms.

  • By attending, you acknowledge that you may appear in audio, video, or recordings.

All event content, recordings, and materials remain the intellectual property of Four Faces.

Attendees may not:

  • Record sessions without prior written permission

  • Share, reproduce, sell, or distribute event materials publicly

  • Use event content for commercial purposes without consent

8. Data Protection & Privacy

We collect personal data including (but not limited to):

  • Name

  • Contact details

  • Email Address

Personal data is used solely for:

  • Event administration

  • Communication

  • Delivery of post-event materials

Data may be securely stored and processed outside the UK, including in New Zealand. Appropriate safeguards are in place.

Attendees have the right to:

  • Access their data

  • Request correction or deletion

  • Withdraw consent where applicable

9. Equality, Inclusion & Accessibility

The Organiser complies with the UK Equality Act 2010 and does not unlawfully discriminate on the basis of:

  • Disability

  • Age

  • Gender

  • Race

  • Religion or belief

  • Sexual orientation

Reasonable accessibility adjustments may be requested in advance. Please contact the Organiser as early as possible to discuss requirements.

10. Health, Safety & Conduct

  • Disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behaviour may result in removal from the event without refund.

  • Attendance is voluntary and at the attendee’s own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • The Organiser is not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage to property

  • The Organiser is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss

  • Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other liabilities that cannot be excluded under law

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand.

Nothing in this clause limits any mandatory consumer protections or statutory rights available under UK law where applicable.
